Twin Cities’ Bob Pat Band kept the free jams flowing for two sets Saturday, April 1 at 56 Brewing in Northeast Minneapolis.
The band was celebrating the birthday of the band’s namesake, Robert Patrick, aka Bob Pat.
The band, arranged as a five-piece, was joined by 56 Brewing’s resident musician Will Effertz on guitar for a few songs. Alongside Patrick, the lineup featured Arthur Begley on guitar, Matthew Probst on electric cello, Paul Mikolich on organ, and Marc Ouellette on drums.
The band took several songs a deeper with blissful improvisations throughout the show. The brewery’s concert hall filled in, many of Bob Pat’s friends gathering for the occasion.
