On Friday (March 30), Lotus announced it was holding four benefit concerts for the Morris family as well as postponing the rest of their tour.
Two of those benefit shows, to be held at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver April 21-22, are going to feature guest musicians that are “friends, former bandmembers and close collaborators of Lotus and Chuck," the band said.

It’s uplifting to see members of the jam community coming together to care for one of their own during this time of tragedy.
Even Live Nation is waiving the fees for these shows.
Among those musicians participating are Mike Rempel, Steve Clemens, Gabe Otto and Jeff Franca of Thievery Corporation; Allen Aucoin of The Disco Biscuits; Dave Watts of The Motet; Jeff Lloyd of The Heavy Pets; Rohan Prakash of Hive Mind; Wilson of Giant Walking Robots; Scotty Zwang of Ghost Light; Jeff Peterson, Anthony Fugate, members of Genetics and more to be announced, the band said via its Instagram account.
“These special concerts will celebrate the lives of Chuck and Charley with 100% of the net proceeds going directly to the Morris family,” the post reads.
The band has postponed its April tour of the western U.S., including all dates in Texas, Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington, noting that it’s “working on rescheduled dates to be announced soon.”
The band’s May 5 and 6 shows, in Harrisburg, Pa., and at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., are now going to be benefit shows for the Morris family.
According to a GoFundMe page set up to aid the Morris family, the family is in great financial need "due to (Arkansas) laws pertaining to missing persons and access to life insurance funds.”
While the search for Chuck and Charley Morris has progressed to a recovery, “the state will not release a death certificate for five years (or until the bodies have been recovered, whichever comes first),” the page reads, noting that the situation means Chuck’s life insurance funds won’t soon be able to accessed.
