I added a lot to Jam in the Stream’s music calendar last week, but more on that below.
This week we have jamgrass band Arkansauce at up at Turf Club Wednesday. I’ve seen them a few times in the last year at Hillberry Music Festival and the Feed the Dog’s Ice Dance in Appleton back in February. I wouldn’t miss that show, if I were in town this week.
Delvon Lamar Organ Trio, aka DLO3, has a pair of shows at the Dakota on Friday. If you love the sound of the Hammond B3, check them out.
Also Friday, Charlie Parr has a set scheduled at Milk & Honey Ciders in St. Joseph.
Buffalo Galaxy is playing Elm Creek Brewing Company’s four-year anniversary party in Champlin. The music is scheduled from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Pryes Brewing is hosting its Block Party Friday and Saturday. Papadosio and Histronic play Friday and Javier Trejo and Caballo Cosmico open Saturday’s lineup.
There were a lot of excellent additions to my music calendar, which I launched last week.
For starters, Daniel Donato and Cosmic Country was announced last week for their first show at First Avenue Oct. 30.
There were a trio of shows announced at Icehouse that I hope to be catching.
The first of those are Twine and Jon Sullivan Band co-headlining on Friday, July 12.
Then Brotherhood of Birds, Annie Frazier Band, Olivia and Will Effertz have a show planned there on Eat Street for Saturday, July 13.
Last but not least is Duluth’s SaltyDog on July 27, part of Spice at the Ice 2, also featuring Between Howls and Anatomy Of.
There are links to tickets for all of the shows listed above over at my aforementioned calendar.
